Splatoon- Korey X Ciel- First kiss

Four minutes had passed, as silence befell the area around them. The Brown Inklings stared at the night sky, without saying a word to the other... Ciel knew she had to make her move now, otherwise she'll miss her chance. "Um-" The two said simultaneously, both stopping because the other spoke. Being a gentleman that he is, Korey let Ciel go first. "Um... I honestly don't know how to say this well... But... I..." Korey's face grew to a concerned look, as she tried to not let her naivety get the best of her. "I... had feelings for you ever since we met... It eventually grew into something I feel like I can say to you..." Ciel continued, as she tried to prevent her blush from being too evident.

"I... I... love you, Korey..." Ciel immediately hid her face out of her shyness, thinking Korey wouldn't expect to respond to her...When she felt his hand on her shoulder, her worries where more suddenly changed. She slowly emerged from her hiding spot, as she looked at Korey, her blush shined like a star in the sky. "Ciel... I... actually have a confession..." He said, as his blush started showing. "Ever since we met, I my heart skipped a beat the moment I saw you... Ever since, I was actually looking forward to seeing you, everyday, even if it was outside the hospital where mom is at now..." As he continued, Ciel paid full attention to him, staring at his brown eyes.

"Heck, I even wanted to give you something for being there for me, as I felt so lonely without my mother... Ciel... I love you, as much as the moon never loses it's glow." Korey finished, as he gave Ciel a reassuring smile. "Oh, you knowledgeable Inkling~" Ciel's inner fan girl rushed, as she kissed Korey on the lips, as Korey happily returned the kiss. The moonlight basked the Inkling couple like no other, no less thanks to the shiny rings Korey's clothes contained. Korey lied back on the branch that supported their weight, as they continued their kiss, their tongues wanting to dominate the other.

They eventually broke the kiss, as Ciel and Korey gazed at each other. "...So, how 'bout we go get something to eat? Bill's on me~" Korey asked, as they sat up, and got down from the tree. "Sure, I was getting hungry just then..." Korey chuckled, as he held Ciel's hand, as they started walking to the nearest restaurant, no longer friends, but as a newly made couple.
